Who We Are

The Servants of Mary (also known as Servites) is a Catholic community of women religious based in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. We serve in educational, healing, social, and pastoral ministries in the United States. We are part of the international Servite Order, which includes priests, brothers, sisters, and laity.

As Servite women:
We stand with the oppressed and exploited.
We stand for the dignity of women and children.
We stand for life and against violence in all its forms.

Women in the Church
we look to Mary,
the power of womanhood.
Like her we value life to the full
and are open to the unknowns
of God’s will.
Like her we are Christ-Bearers to the world:
attentive at Cana,
compassionate at Calvary,
empowered for Church at Pentecost.
